The Sciscio family has been in the dairy business for generations, producing cheese and dairy products, as well as wholesale and retail in Sammichele di Bari and the surrounding areas.
The pillars on which the company rests are: the maintenance of family traditions, respect for the environment, and the freshness and genuineness of its dairy products. The production of cheeses and dairy products ranges from hard cheeses to soft cheeses, from fresh cheeses to mature cheeses, including typical cheeses - such as Cacio Silano DOP - and real specialities, such as the excellent buffalo mozzarella.
At the Caseificio Sciscio, only raw milk, coming directly from the cowshed, is used for the production of cheese and dairy products. Processing is traditional, using ancient methods combined with a constant improvement in the quality, variety and goodness of the dairy products on offer.
